Caused my truck to miss between 1500 to 2000 rpms. It would also die if you turned the windshield wipers on. I replaced it only for preventative maintenance. The old factory one with 100,000 miles on it worked fine. I put the old one back in and it worked fine. I exchanged this one for a factory ford/motorcraft one. Works perfect just as the original one did. Note, the magnet on this one was bigger than the motorcraft one. It was similar in size to the old original "BLACK" sensors that were recalled by ford.
