Your cart is empty.Delphi's mechanical fuel pumps, which work with older-model carbureted systems, deliver fuel flow to the engine. It sits at the front-lower portion of the motor and the pumps are lever-operated. An internal diaphragm draws fuel from the tank through lines running the length of the vehicle and pushes the fuel into the carburetor.

Amazing price. Easy install. I was having trouble with intermittent stalling out. After replacing spark plugs. Wires. Ignition cook , fuel filter. Someone suggest the fuel pump. Well that was the fix. Took me 20 mins to swap out and for u know reasons the truck doesn’t have this issue. So apparently these mechanical pumps can intermittently fail and not work correctly. It would only stall out at idle. Not when accelerating. So my advise is if vehicle is acting off and you think it’s a fuel supply issue -swap the pump out since it’s only a 21 dollar part. So needless to say -I am very happy my vehicle is now working like it should.

This 1986 Ramcharger sat since 2005. Replaced pump, fuel lines and cleaned the tank. Runs perfectly now. Outstanding price price for this fuel pump

I read the reviews and gave this fuel pump a shot, I had my mechanic replace my existing fuel pump (due to age) with this new one and regretted replacing something that was not broken.The day after I proactively replaced my fuel pump, I did a test drive to another city 19 miles away, it got me to my destination, but on my way back, roughly 22 miles worth of driving with the new fuel pump, this pump failed. I lost accelleration on the busy Interstate 5 freeway and fortunately for me I was on the slowest lane and was able to exit and roll down the exit.I ended up getting a tow truck to tow my van to the mechanic who confirmed this fuel pump failed. Bought a different brand and had it installed and so far so good.I returned this one and got my refund.

Not enough fuel pressure to work properly for my van!! Will now need elec pump also!! Should not need elec pump and mechanical pump but I do for some reason!! Need inline elec pump!!

Failure in less than one tank of gas. Not impressed at all. Reinstalled my old fuel pump. Reasons? I installed new gas tank, sending unit…. so….. I figured a new fuel pump would be a no brainer..
