Not sure why others had issues? This kit installed perfectly in my faucet. I bought it to fix a squeak during handle operation. Took me about 10min to install both inserts. It's obvious where the parts go once you remove the old inserts. Make sure you note the orientation of the old inserts before removing them. Insert the new one in exactly the same orientation. I had no issue with handle stops. The handles operate exactly the same way they did before the upgrade, no leaks or drips. I also used a little Super Lube synthetic grease on the gasket to help with insertion. Super Lube is safe for potable water. I would buy this kit again if I have squeaks or leaks in the future.

First, I love Delta faucets. I bought this valve set to replace a set that was dripping on an old Delta faucet. This is the part number the Delta website called for, but I found slight differences between these and the originals. Once installed the dripping stopped, but when one turns the water on, the valve leaks around the base of the faucet handle. So, while it solved one problem, it created another. Fortunately, this is a two sink bathroom for just one person. When there is enough money, will replace both faucets and put a end to all the leaking.

I ordered this for a leaky Delta Victorian faucet. After spending almost an hour going through Delta's website to try and figure out the exact model number of my faucet, this is the part Delta indicated I needed. It did not fit. Luckily, I was able to rob the rubber washers off of this and fit them on my existing stem units, fixing the leak.

Replaced hot water stem with this replacement kit. It does not have a stop gap on it. You have to play with the handle until you get it where the water no longer drips or runs. Very dissatisfied with this product. It's good for now until we find a better replacement.
