Fit the diverter perfectly and made it so we could replace our old outdated bath fixtures to a more updated finish. Work well we now have a diverter in the tub spout and have no problems with the water being diverted to the shower head. So glad delta parts let us know this was available and most of the plumbers we called to see what could be done to replace the out dated fixtures never told us about the diverter plug.

Worked like a charm. A little expensive for what it was, but I'm sure there's not a ton of demand either. I had been sold a cheap piece to plug that size pipe by a hardware store, but it didn't have the larger cap on the end or the rubber washer; as a result, it leaked. This one did the trick with no leaks or problems at all.

Worked exactly as advertised. A bit pricey but a great product. As far as I know these are not available at Home Depot or Lowes.

If you have a broken diverter on a bathtub with a Delta faucet and want to replace the trim to something a bit more modern and then have a tub spout with the diverter built in, THIS IS THE PART YOU NEED!I was able to get this from Amazon faster than either of my two primary suppliers. I paid significantly more than I normally would but Amazon hit it out of the part on the delivery.

If you found this, that means you need it. It screws on well and didn't leak in out test run before the grouted the tile. I couldnt find this anywhere locally and its cheaper than calling a plumber, even though its $20 for a plug.

I had an old style delta shower handle with push diverter to have the water switch from faucet to shower head. And this little piece was what I needed to install the bronze without the diverter, now my bathroom looks amazing.

This part is a must purchase if you are installing the Delta RP54870 Renovation Kit - 600 Series Tub/Shower to replace the horribly outdated round plastic knob and shower diverter stem that pokes out of the round wall escutcheon trim plate. This part is NOT included in the renovation kit and I only learned about it by reading customer reviews for the renovation kit on Amazon. Thanks for the heads up
