Used this to replace the 88055 L-2. Fit perfectly and looks slightly different inside the handle, but those modifications seemed to have bettered the product. You must first screw the Philips screw through the hex nut against the shower base make sure to tighten it (not too much), then you have to slide on the handle onto the hex nut, and then use a 3/32 Allen Wrench and needle it through the hole that's on top of the handle lining it into the small hex socket and tightening it. The tighter you screw it in, the tighter the handle will be.

Needed to replace the handle on our shower and local stores didn't have what we needed, this is an exact replacement and works well.

Delivery very slow , originally indicated to be next day , received on Saturday ( not Thursday,) had to make due with old handle which kept falling off. Fit is perfect.

The only negative thing I could say is that they didn't have the product in the color that I needed. With that said .... The product is a perfect fit for the original item. Strong, built well and is very easy to install.
