US Federal Law states that "It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset...However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed 24 hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness."

EASY INSTALLATION
Simply lower your pole, take off the ball topper, and place the Deneve light atop the flag pole. The typical installation time is around only 2 minutes.

Warning: please don't stare at the lights for a long duration of time as it may cause eye damage. - The pole of a ball topper must be AT MOST 0.5 inches thick or smaller in order to fit the center hole of our flag light - The length of the pole must be AT MINIMUM 1.5 inches long in order to clear the thickness of our flag light. This works great. I have to say I did return it though. I didn't realize we are in a Dark Community and this was too bright for our area. It is not too bright, just right. If I could have turned it off easily I would have kept it but that is not the point of this light.It was easy to install.

I have actually bought two of these. The first one I had bought was on an Aluminum flagpole, it could not withstand the fierce Westerly winds in New Mexico And ultimately bent and snapped. Crushing my first solar light. but it was a no questions asked moment when I erected a 21 foot steel pole. The light shines brightly in a downwardly direction so that my neighbors don’t freak out about the bright light coming in through their windows. The flagpole is 21 feet tall and so the light is high enough to go into most second windows, but Since it Points almost directly downward with some angle light so that you can see the flag when the wind is blowing. It’s enough that my neighbors don’t freak out. I absolutely love this light and I can’t say it enough. We get a lot of hot baking days just pure sunlight in the suburbs in New Mexico, this has never failed to produce, even after a couple years of use the solar panels withstand the elements really well.

The light is working as it should. We recently sent the light back and repurchased a new identical light. It's plastic and the solar sensors came off and were flopping loose. Some of the lights stopped working. After sending it back in, we found out that this is a common issue, need to clean the contacts occasionally and probe glue the sensors down when they come loose. So we purchased the light again and are going to give it another chance. First one lasted 28 days. The light isn't as bright as I would like but it works as it should. Low quality but priced accordingly. If this one falls apart, I will look for something better constructed. Shipping was quick.

I purchased the 30 foot heavy duty pole and solar light. The pole consists of three different diameters of tubing that stack together. Installation is simple but extra hands are helpful to stabilize the pole as it is raised and set in the included sleeve which must be set in concrete. I used 4 80 pound bags of concrete to insure its stability. When installed it looks great and the flag provided is of heavy material with embroidered stars. The solar light illuminated the flag at night and lasted until dawn however it stopped working within a month. I have requested a replacement and am waiting for a response. I will update my report when the problem is resolved (or not) my rating will be adjusted accordingly.

2 nd one from this company,this one ,only 1/2 of light is working. Bought in may ,now February. EDIT!!! It Is working now, didn’t do anything working good now ,the company emailed me and offered a refund.that’s awesome!👠I will decline because it is working.
