I really like this spool holder. I ordered two and have no regrets these are what I bought.Count your spools. You may be surprised by how many you have in your stash, as I was.It really is "plug and play". No tools required and no glue.Like others have said, putting the cross pieces on requires some considerable hand strength. Hubby did one for me. I did the other by squeezing the pieces together with a good pliers which worked well. I don't think I would want them too easy to attach to each other. The holder would not be nearly as strong. After the cross pieces were attached, the spool holders went in very easily. The spool holders are all the same length, 4 inches. They easily hold a large cone spool. Or double-stacked regular spools. Or regular spools together with matching bobbins. This item does it all.It is all plastic but a very strong plastic. I believe it will last for many years.I did not want to put holes in my wall, so hung it with strategically placed heavy Command strips. Command strips worked like a charm. Hubby questioned my method as being strong enough to hold but could not tease it loose. (Score one for the Wife! ) :-)I have no problem recommending this product. It looks nice, organized perfectly, is strong, and I am glad I got them. I found other spool holders online for less money, but this was the only white one and I wanted it to match my wall. I also thought the wood holders might be more flimsy and break too easily. I'm glad I made that choice.Recommended !

It was extremely hard to snap together. I had to get my husband and he had to use pliers. Once he figured out the best way to apply the pressure they all came together just fine. I ordered 10 and 2 of them were just a bit different, but not a deal breaker. Attaching them to the wall was easy and the fact that you can remove any posts to suit your particular situation is wonderful! I use Madeira threads and they fit just fine. I did put the bobbins under the thread spool because they had a tendency to fall off the top. My Smart Needle thread spools were a tad too fat, but I don't have a lot of them and keep them in a drawer so that's okay. Using the spool huggers are a great way to see the thread numbers. The small numbers on the spool were hard to read, so I wrote the numbers on the huggers with a sharpie and you can really see them. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the racks!

I like that they have tall posts that can fit 2 smaller spools. They could be a bit sturdier. The plastic is thin. You can bend it slightly. Would be better if rigid but they hang nicely and do the job. They also are stackable for space saving.

Although some reviewers talked about how hard this was to snap together, I found it extremely easy to assemble, and it took maybe all of 15 minutes. I'm 60 y/o, so it's not like I"m SuperGirl. I like that I can skip installing every other spindle for my very large spools, and for the king spools I can put every other one upside down so that I can utilize the space better. I even have it on the wall using Command Strips, and it's holding securely after several days, so I'm confident I can add another one without putting holes in my wall. It feels lightweight, but is working perfectly for me!

Very practical and looks lovely on the wall. I have two of them placed on top of each other. I like the long rods because they can hold a thread spool as well as a bobbin with the same thread color, which saves me the headache of bobbin storage.Assembling it was a bit too hard for me, so I had to ask my husband to help, and even he needed pliers! But once assembled the pieces hold well together and do not shift, and I like that.

I'm so happy with this thread rack that I bought two. I like the bright white color and the sturdiness of the plastic. There are no rough edges like I've experienced with some wood racks.Yes, they are a little difficult to assemble. I ended up using a kitchen towel as extra padding in my hand when snapping the pieces together. That worked well for me. Hanging them on the wall was quite simple too. I hung them top to bottom so it looks like one unit instead of two separate ones.I really like the long spindles. They are so long that I am able to put the matching bobbin under the spool so they won't get separated. The spacing between spindles is enough that I can use Peels on an almost full spool of thread and it still fits next to another.Sizing reference for my pictures:Top spools with netting - base is 1 ½" wide - spool is 2 ⅛" high - 1100 yard spoolBottom spools with Peels - spool is 1 ½" wide and 3" high - 1200 yard spool

I was a little worried when I saw that it came in parts and had to be put together, and I only struggled a little bit, then when I got the hang of it, I put them all together quickly and now they’re holding all of my spools very sturdily. Bought two.

It’s a nice sturdy spool holder and the threads don’t continually fall off like some cheaper versions.

Love it, got my serger thread on it and it is sturdy, just use proper 3m hooks no need for holes in the wall, please note you must build it, but it's easy
