Very classy mat with rubberized backing to replace our old worn out "Walmart" special fireplace mat. Appears very well made. I'm sure we will get years of wear out of it!

This suits our woodstove corner perfectly in terms of size and color theme. It looks great and doesn't budge when we're walking around in front of the area. We are diligent in cleaning up so I can't say we've had an ember sit on the mat for a while to test its fire resistance, but we have had some small embers land on it with no apparent damage. Much better then dropping them on the wood floor! Very happy with this purchase.EDITED - I now of course dropped a large ember and while I tried to grab it quickly, it certainly melted the design. My own fault, but yes, this does melt! I remain very happy with it though, it's not super noticeable to me and my floors remain protected.

Like that this is a thicker type rug and the robo vac can still go over it without getting stuck. The image is very nice.

Although we have a substantial brick front to our fireplace, the added protection on our carpet helps to prevent any hot ashes from damaging the carpet. Provides piece of mind and well made too.

We’ve had a metal fire mat for 20 years—it was ugly, but did the job. I was surprised to find they had a different solution to embers from wood stoves/fire places. This looks SO much better than our old metal one! It’s nice to walk on too! It arrived quickly and in perfect shape! I’m very happy with it and would recommend 100%!
