  • Designed by a wrist surgeon in France specifically to minimize wrist injuries in snowboarding, skating and other action sports. Laboratory tested and proven protection. Doctor recommended. Patented Flexmeter wrist protective technology. Fits under Docmeter/Flexmeter Over Gloves. Flexible dorsal thermoplastic.
  • D3O impact protection is integrated in the wrist using 11271 - 4mm Solid Lite B Grey D3O. Removable skid plate. Ideal for snowboarding, inline skate, skateboarding and roller derby. The Flexmeter wrist protector has been designed by physicians, engineers, and trauma specialists. The wrist guard is a dorsal protection worn on the back of the wrist which disperses initial impact loads up the forearm by transferring the energy.
  • You can kind of compare it to a shock on a car, when you hit a bump the force is absorbed by the shocks. The Flexmeter Wrist Guard is designed the same way, as your wrist is impacted the plastic shields and straps act as a shock to absorb the impact and energy.
  • The Flexmeter Wrist Guard has been designed to respect the anatomical shape of the wrist and it follows the shape and outline. The Flexmeter Wrist Guard allows normal mobility of the wrist for ease of usage, as opposed to the protection commonly used. The problem with most wrist guards is that they are too stiff and too short. They don't fully protect the wrists.

I tried some other brands, on the $20-$30 range and it’s night and day, in terms of quality. These are sturdy! Definitely look around for a sale on their website, as I paid close to $100 on Amazon. I am recovering from a broken wrist from snowboarding. (Some dude hit a jump and landed on me, from behind, never saw him coming.) I typically don’t fall on my wrists, but the way he hit me, it whipped me backwards. BAM. So, these feel great and supportive. If I could do it again, I’d buy the GLOVES with the guards automatically incorporated. As it is, they “barely” fit my gloves and it got so annoying I bought a pair of XL mittens. That is working for now, but I lose finger dexterity. Anyway, definitely buy something to protect against the other fools on the mountain! Recommend.

These wristguards are legit. I use them for skateboarding. I sprained my wrist severely about 5 weeks ago and wasn't able to skate for a few weeks and it was killing me. I skate street so I like to do a lot of flip tricks up and down stuff. Unfortunately landing primo is always a risk with flip tricks and every time I'd land primo I slam on the ground and my wrists take the impact. My wrist sprain was so bad I couldn't turn my car keys or open up doors for a week or so. Over a month later and I can still barely do a few pushups, when normally I can do at least 40 in a row.I was previously using some 187 wristguards.. you know, the kind with the bent plastic spoon under your palm. It didn't seem to protect anything, if anything it just distributed all of the impact into one point on my wrist which probably hurt even more than if I was wearing nothing. I tried skating a couple weeks after spraining my wrist by duct taping an extra large shirt over a wristbrace to provide impact protection but even then every slam hurt like hell and immobilized my hand for a few minutes. So I went looking online for the best possible wristguards money could buy and settled on these. Boy am I glad I did. These things are amazing. They're bulkier than most wristguards but it doesn't impair my ability to skate at all. I've slammed on my wrist many times already with these, usually a few times a session so probably like 15+ times a week I take a brutal slam on my wrist. I haven't felt a single one with these wrist guards. Because of that my confidence has jumped back up and I'm able to do the things I was able to before spraining my wrist with ease. I will never take these off while skating again. They seem very durable. I have nothing bad to say about these wristguards. If you value your wrists, or have a tendency to brace your falls during extreme sports with your hands, you need to have these.

I've been wearing wrist guards every day for EUC riding, and will admit these are the best I've tried. The fit was correct via measurement they recommend. The support is on both sides and begins half way up the palm and extends well up the wrist. If you want free fingers, these are amazing in that regard, but I prefer to wear gloves to protect fingers, thumb. Getting a glove over these is difficult, but as long as there is enough room on the guard to fit through the wrist area of the glove (obviously). There is a skid plate, piece of plastic that is velcro-ed to the base of the palm area - this has to be taken off to fit inside gloves. I think the perfect setup would be these guards, durable gloves over the top, and maybe stitch some velcro to the base of the palm of the glove and attach that skid plate to the outside of the glove. These are exactly the type of item that never goes on sale, due to merit and value - so pretty much just gotta pay the premium price.

Great protection but not practical if wearing jacket and too obtrusive for watch, etc

I have full confidence this wrist guard will protect wrists from a fall on all of my PEV's, especially on an EUC. Very sturdy, thick, and limits all rotation of the wrist.I recommend flatland3d gloves as a means to fit a wrist guard under a lazy rolling hoodie but you wont get superior protection compared to the flexmeter. Not 100 percent compatible with lazyrolling hoodiesThe only con i see is that it is bulky and cant be worn under tight fitted long sleeved shirts or jackets.A little pricey imo this is the best wrist guard on the market.

Without having skated in over a decade I bought a pair of pro speed skates with no brakes and boy was that an adjustment and learning process. Thankfully I bought these and my wrists have never felt more protected and secure. My one tip with these is wear gloves, I almost messed up the tips of my fingers / knuckles the first time I fell with these

Overall this is a good product, saving my wrists from a recent fall. Am a little disappointed about the quality of the stitching (as pictured) which has come off the seam. For the price paid, I would’ve expected it to be more sturdy and last longer?Demon Flexmeter team, how do o go about getting this repaired or replaced?

El producto llegó incompleto. Le faltaba la placa de deslizamiento. Lamentablemente fue una pérdida de tiempo, su control de calidad deja mucho que desear. Se devolvió el producto.

They are nice, you can feel they are high quality. But, I was soon surprised to realize they are fairly big and wouldn't fit under my Armored Hoodie from Lazyrolling. For the same reason you're going to have a problem wearing this with sweaters and jackets. End the end I decided to stick with my two sided Triple8 wrist guards which are a fraction of the price and provide comparable protection.
