This is a nice assortment of differently sized sisal trees and a couple of bendable bare trees that have snow patterns on them.There are four 2 1/2 inch tall sisal trees (about 1 inch wide at the bottom), four 5 1/2 inch tall sisal trees (about 2 inches wide at the bottom), and two 7 1/2 inch tall sisal trees (about 3 inches wide at the bottom). There are two bendable bare trees, one about 12 inches tall and the limbs can be bent out so the tree is about 6 inches wide at the maximum,the other about 8 inches tall with a maximum width of about 3 inches. The imitation cobblestone mat that is in the set is about 17 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide. It rolls up for storage. On the bottom of the mat is a sticker that states: 'Do not place mat on finely finished surfaces.' (I don't know what really constitutes a finely finished surface...) The snow in the 1.5 oz. bag looks pretty realistic. The whole shebang is manufactured in China. There were no discernible odors that I noticed but I have yet to open the bag of snow. However, I'm pretty sure I would have noticed it if the snow had an odor. Finally, the trees are nicely held in place in the box by a cardboard holder which will also make storing the trees much easier when your display is taken down. Note that the bare trees are just laying in the box but are held in place by the bag of snow. The cobblestone mat as a small alcove to place it in. Nicely done. I think the item is fairly priced for the money (17.50 at the moment). Especially when one considers that it's a Department 56 product.

Just beautiful. Will be prefect accessories to my village. These are packaged nicely and are a really dark green color in perfect condition. These are much nicer than the other trees and shrubbery I ordered from Amazon. The others were not packaged well and tree’s branches are dented in. I mention this because these come in perfect package and perfect condition. Who wants bent trees. Pay the couple $’s more and get these. You won’t be disappointed. I’m ordering 2 more packaged. Love them!

This is the first year we have purchased this type of accessory for our Dickens Village by Dept56. We proudly set it out each Christmas in our living room close to the decorated tree. We have been collecting the pieces for years ever since receiving one as a gift.Although we loved our display, it always seemed to be lacking a "realness". Adding trees, the sidewalk, and the snow (although I don't think we will use the snow again as it gets all over everything close) it brought the visual effect that was missing. Placing the landscape pieces in interesting locations made the Village look alive. We actually had fun moving them from place to place and seeing how it changed the appearance. Our youngest wanted all the tall trees by the front gate to make a maze to enter, but he didn't get his way!Beautifully realistic and easy to store as well as display. The Landscape deserves a 5 star rating

I just ordered another one of these! I was trying to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to display my 1st-ever Christmas village, but couldn't wait! I spent the entire weekend arranging and rearranging my pieces until I got it just right. The landscaping makes my village look like a Norman Rockwell painting! I love the trees and ESPECIALLY the snow. As said in other reviews, the snow is a big NO if you have small children or pets (and, do not open your windows on a windy day), but it definitely adds an authentic touch to the display. I ordered another landscape to add more trees and snow (I want deep snow!) to the display. My village is displayed on a long marble-topped wine rack. The marble looks great as the roads/sidewalks, so luckily I didn't need to use the vinyl cobblestone road strip.

The trees in this set are wonderful and add quite a bit of charm to any village. The snow seems like it would be great as well but I'm not opening that package of loose "snow" to pour out where my kids might be tempted to spread it all over the house, er uh "play", with it. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was the road piece. It looked so cheap in comparison to everything else in Dept 56 villages. It really stood out like a sore thumb against the beautiful artisan craftsmanship of each of the other pieces in my collection.

We got these for a school project and they were very realistic looking and I thought it was a nice set of trees in different sizes. They could also be used in a christmas decoration just nice trees for the price. There are 4 green trees and a bare looking wooden tree! So I was pleased, after her project was over we just took them off and removed the hot glue from bottom and they can be reused again for other projects or decorations!

Some of the sides were slightly smashed, but nothing noticeable or worth sending back. I just turned them.Overall, I like them a lot. Certainly made a difference for my first Christmas village! I want to maintain a simplistic look - not over the top (taking over my table, etc.). At some point, I will purchase a display case to place it in - it will help keep it dust free while being displayed and contain the "snow." We have a lot of ceiling fans here in Florida which run almost all year long.

Este set le va a dar un plus a cualquier villa navideña, los pinos se ven muy bonitos, los árboles secos le dan un excelente toque, el camino de piedra se ve súper, y la "nieve", se ve bastante real la verdad, puedes esparcirla un poco sobre escalones o sobre el mismo camino de piedra y le da un toque magico, recomiendo complementar con algodón para que no se vea tan plano el piso y por si no te alcanza con la nieve que viene incluida.
