Sounds good but the digital optical input sometimes does not work, basically no sound passing through. Have to switch to Aux input for it to work.

We have found that this karaoke amplifier works satisfactorily and is a great buy at beneath $100. The manual is paltry but not a problem if you know your way around stereos and XLR plugs. You’ll find a few YouTube videos that can demonstrate the unit too, but there aren’t a lot of them either.Others have commented, the unit is a little bit noisy, meaning there’s a noticeable hiss. I’ve found this due to incorrect configuration. I had this issue until I turned down the amp/stereo that powered my speakers and instead powered the volume by turning the Karaoke amp up. Either way, when playing music the hiss wasn't noticeable.Configuring the karaoke amp to do the work also has the benefit that the volume being higher will make the LED meters active.There is one mystery: this remaining issue is weird and for a while I thought the product was broken. This unit will accept four microphone inputs, however the problem is that when you turn off a mic plugged into the front inputs, the mic inputs in the back turn off too. It’s weird that they don’t work completely independently. Picture this: if you’re running your set up with three mics like I am, when somebody who is using a front mic turns off their microphone because they’re not performing, the person who has a microphone plugged in the back gets turned off. That’s pretty lame.

I have several mixers for karaoke, for keyboard and singing. Music sound beautiful, but mic too much delay even turn down all the way. If you use for singing be aware. Other then that very good for the price.
