Very nice quality product, albeit very expensive. Needed a quality solution for Evora clutch line that is sensitive to heat, this sorted out my problem.

I have a miata with some aftermarket exhaust mods that heats up the A/C line closest to my header. My A/C would barely put out any cool air on a hot day and I knew I had to insulate the line some to fix this issue. I considered buying closed cell A/C line insulation, but it's temperature rating is for less than 200 dF, it takes up a lot of room, and I was worried about icing on the line if too much insulation was used. There is a reason A/C lines in cars have long, uninsulated lengths of aluminum tubing and I have a feeling it has to do with over compression of the coolant and icing.So I wanted to try covering the A/C line closest to the exhaust with a material that was not a strong insulator, but kept exhaust heat out. Thus, I tried this fire wrap and it has worked extremely well. The A/C blows significantly cooler air than before, but not so much colder that I am worried about icing or compressor failure. I'd recommend this fire wrap for people with similar exhaust/AC issues. Do not wrap your entire A/C line with this insulation though! Only cover the area of highest temperature exposure!

Works great for my clutch line on my c6 ls3 corvette. Thick and perfect fit have kept my line safe from my kooks headers for 2k plus miles so far

I used this to cover a power wire the was close to my exhaust that previous melted. Had it on there for 8 months now and no issues.

Be aware that if you cut the sleeve to length the stitched on Velcro closures will pull away from the sleeve...

Love this for protection right next to headers. Kinda a rubbery feeling in the outside and a fiberglass inside and solid Velcro seam.
