I have now purchased these V8 sets in both 6" length for my 2008 Corvette Z06 LS7 427 engine and 8" length for my 2004 Silverado SS 6.0 liter with Kooks headers. These work great and do not unravel like the cheaper knock offs which I bought here before. I bought both DEIs sets from Summit Racing. I have had these on my Taylor spark plug wires for the last 750 miles. They do their job and look fantastic. I would definitely get them again for any other engine builds!

I originally bought a different set, but they wouldn't fit over my plug wire boots. These have wide enough openings on both ends and were long enough to suite my wires on the LS3 engine.

I installed headers on my 2009 Cadillac CTS-V and did not add these. After about 10-12k miles I felt a slight dead spot at idle and under low rpm load with heavy acceleration. These worked perfectly! Since the stock plug wires (which I used) are so short, these almost gave me 100% coverage from boot to coil pack. I only have about 2k miles on them, but absolutely zero problems.

Quality sleeves, unfortunately I have wires with a 90° boot on both ends so it took a little time to get them over but once on they're perfect to keep my boots from burning from my block hugger headers.

My ACDelco wires already came with metal shield, but I wanted something different and woudl be easier to remove later. These fit and worked great. They even cover half of the wire as well as the boot. They are great quality and bigger than expected too.

Insulators are well made but would not work in my application. Hard ring sewn in end of insulator must fit between boot and head. Ring would not allow boot to fit correctly on spark plug. Ring ID is smaller than boot.

I had issues with my old points distributor and wires. A couple of wires had shorted to the headers. These prevented further deterioration of the spark plug boots. Now they’re on my HEI wires. It’s been a few weeks without problems. I would recommend.

Does what it says on the tin. It’s a little more expensive than the other Chinese copies, but imo worth the peace of mind.
