Wanted to look for a music stand that I could attach to my drum frame so I could look straight ahead at my sheet music while playing rather than looking sideways where my music stand was standing to my left. This book stand which has multiple uses was perfect. It has a clip-on that was easy to attach to my drum frame. Strong and sturdy too. PERFECT!

Well manufactured product and I live this. It could be better if ;1. Hinges could be little easy fasten.2. Could rotate the top plate.

Perfect! The included allen keys allow you to fully adjust, so you can lock in any specific setting (does not rely on springs). It goes in all directions, and looks VERY slick and professional. I was looking for a standing book stand, it is precisely perfect!

This is just what I needed for my craft room. It’s perfect for holding instructions for a particular craft (sewing, miniature-building, etc.) or for holding my tablet or phone so I can watch/listen to something while crafting. I love the clamp attachment because it doesn’t take up valuable table or desk space and it’s easily moved to another table or work station. I haven’t tried anything really heavy on it and I don’t use this at full extension since I’m sitting or standing right by it, but it holds my things well. It comes with Allen keys to adjust the joints so I can put this in almost any position and angle to comfortably use this.

I primarily use this for a cell phone at home as a tablet (Or book) is actually too heavy to be held up at near full extension.Tools are included to tighten the pivot bolts, but even cranked down pretty hard, it *barely* holds up a standard smart phone. Put anything larger/heavier and I guarantee it will droop easily as full arm extension. This is why I dropped two stars. If you use this at 1/2 or 3/4 extension, I can see this holding more weight than what I'm using it for.

I originally grabbed this thinking it was something else, but turned out to be an extremely useful mount for me. I professionally train and present pretty frequently and this has become quite the partner of mine for these events. I actually mounted a little clock/time on it as well as keep bullet point notes to help keep me on track and assure I don't miss anything. This is extremely practical and design very well. It has a boom arm type mounting system that makes it a breeze to reposition everything (or even strategically position it). It also holds its position very well. Many of these boom arm devices fall under it's own weight. This mount has no problem holding itself in position even wiith it's acrylic construction. There's a few things I haven't yet tried, but since it is a clear acrylic shelf, I could get clever and mount something for my audience on one side and something for me on the other. I understand this is a pretty specialized product, but I highly recommend it for those productive presenters out there. It's extremely practical and has been getting a ton of use!

As you can see in my product photos, I tend to have a very cluttered desk (ADHD brain). I have a free-standing stand for holding paper, but with the clutter on my desk, it just ads more and I have to clear off space and it's easy to knock over.I thought this might be a great solution. I have a VariDesk Pro Plus 36 Standing Desk convertor on my large traditional wooden desk. I was able to clamp this to one side of the upper portion of the desk. I can pull it around to be in front of me to one side. When not it use, I can rotate the arm to push it off to the side. The lip is large enough to hold my iPad (in its case). There are arms at the bottom that can hold paper in place (though not necessary -- i never need them). There are no arms at the top, but the stand can tilt forward or backward. Tilting back can keep flimsy paper from falling forward. You will need to tighten all the "joints" with a hex key/Allen wrench once you've mounted it. Otherwise it will droop down until it rests on a surface. I'm pretty sure it came with a wrench, though I can't remember for sure. I just used my own set.My one complaint is that the stand itself will tilt up or down, but not side to side. The entire assembly will rotate from the mounting point, but I'd like to be able to rotate the angle of the stand itself from one side to the other. Knocking off a point for that.It comes with a protective paper film on the back. Once removed it's completely clear, so it doesn't obstruct views when not in use.
