I researched before I bought and it payed off. This is a high quality item, looks great and is set up properly for what I needed.I used a little glue when putting it together to prevent having an accident by someone picking it up from one or the uprights.

I do my devotional with Bythewell4God and I need to keep those separate from my other stuff, so this is exactly what I was looking for! The wood pieces came in perfect condition, you need to assemble it but its so easy no directions needed, it was straight forward, once you set them, they are truly set! Its pretty tight and it will be pretty hard if you would want to disassemble!Its a great product! Recommended!

We have 2 laptops that we use daily, usually when sitting on the couch, and needed a place to stow them when not in use. I took a chance and bought this file organizer for that purpose. The spacing between the wood dividers is about 1 inch, so it seemed that our thin laptops might fit. I assembled the file holder using only the two tallest dividers, glued them into place, then covered the bottom of the dividers and the remaining surface (containing the slots for the unused dividers) with strips of indoor/outdoor carpeting (from a scrap piece I had saved). I also glued 4 small rubber feet to the bottom. Now it perfectly holds our two laptops on the floor within arms reach - still need to deal with occasional tangle of power cords on the floor, but all in all a handy way to use this product.

NONE of the partitions fit it the slots. I want to return but I think I'll just try sanding them down a bit.

While the organizer is straightforward to assemble without requiring printed instructions, it does take some force to insert the dividers into the base. I considered breaking out a rubber mallet to help with the assembly as I didn't want to accidentally damage the pieces in the process, but I eventually got things put together without any tools. The upside of the pieces fitting together so tightly is that the organizer feels undeniably sturdy and unlikely to come apart. The thickness of the boards also makes the entire thing nicely weighted and more than up to the job of holding stacks of papers, file folders, and even tablets and laptops. The bamboo material is nicely finished and smooth to the touch (though the edges could probably stand some smoothing after having them press into my hands during the assembly), making for an attractive and more natural aesthetic for your office. The smooth bottom shouldn't raise concerns about stability, but then it's easy enough to add a set of rubber feet to the bottom for some peace of mind.
