I purchased this light to be used on a weekly podcast for about one hour each week. After a few months, the light would not stay on when I assume it got hot. I would have to unplug it for a couple of hours and then it would work properly again. Now, the light will not staying on no more than 10 minutes before it turns off again. I hope there are more reliable lights on the market, because this one is totally unreliable after a few months and few hours use.Update: (Added Two Stars) I was immediately contacted by Yarrashop Direct following my review. The company was very concerned about the failure of their product and felt I may have just received a inferior light. The communication with this company was outstanding over the next couple of days. The company offered to ship me a new light directly or provide a refund to my Amazon account. I chose the refund because Amazon warns against providing personal information to sellers. Yarrashop Direct immediately refunded what I had paid for the light to include tax. I have rarely over years of being on Amazon left a negative review. I have to say I was very impressed on the immediate response by this company to my negative review. It demostrates a lot about this company's concern for their reputation and the quality of their product. I will purchase their products again in the future. I feel it is only right when you leave a bad review and a company goes above and beyond to correct a problem with their product their efforts should also be expressed and the review updated. I hope this review helps someone contemplating on purchasing a Ring Light or any other product of Yarrashop Direct.

I have this clipped to my monitor and I use it for all of my meetings. It's easy to use and gives great lighting. I love that there are 3 different "warmths" but I normally use natural light.

I use this ring light on my desk. My office is in the basement and not well lit. The different levels of brightness really help. I change the different shades as the day wears on and I don't want such harsh light. Oh, it does hold my iPad quite well, but mostly I'm using it for a lamp. It doesn't take up a lot of room and it can be angled. the base is quite sturdy and doesn't tip over. I do recommend this product.

When I bought this for work - it worked great! In my office, I am backlit so many times on client calls and when recording training videos my face is a little too dark. With this light, it completely fixed that issue, and wasn't too bright - plus was very adjustable in brightness and warmth. It worked great and I had many conversations with others about it encouraging them to get something similar.Unfortunately, yesterday (10 months after I bought it) was the last time that it worked. Now when I plug it in - the light pulses - even when off. The remote no longer turns it on/off and the light isn't working. If I leave it plugged in the light will occasionally turn on and stay on - with no ability to turn it off.When it worked, the light was great. But now it's garbage because it won't work. Be careful when buying a ring-light - try to get one that will go the distance!

Nachdem ich nicht wusste, wie ich an dem Licht die Farbtemperatur einstellen kann, nämlich durch kurzes Drücken des Ein-Aus-Schalters, bekam ich vom Kundendienst schnell und hilfreich die Antwort.Ich benötige das Licht für Video-Meetings und es funktioniert super. Helligkeit nach Wahl, Farbtemperatur in 5 Stufen und das Licht kann man in verschiedene Richtungen drehen.

Packaging:Comes in a simple nice brown box, nothing overly fancy, which is perfectly fine. Everything is neatly packed inside, protected with bubble wrap, and cables tied.Visual/First Impressions:I will start with the clip, I was amazed to find this is pure solid metal, it feels heavy and tough, finished off with a lovely matt black paint job. The clamping strength initially felt a little too strong, but once it was applied to a screen it felt just strong enough to hold on, not too strong to do any damage. Each clip has durable and tough foam so it can’t scratch or mark wherever you apply this. The full opening width of these clips is around an inch, so you’d be struggling to find a screen that these wont clip on unless you’re using a TV from 10 years ago!The light itself is a very clean glossy white look to it and the rear of it is a clean rear black plastic casing. You cannot see into the light, so everything is hidden behind. The cable is hardwired to the light and is more than long enough. The wire control part has 4 buttons, feels fairly solid and the buttons are reactive and give a good clicking feedback when used. Also the light doesn’t weigh much at all, can barely feel it whilst holding it, so there is little to no chance of it weighing down a laptop screen.Using:Plugging these into my laptop, I turned this on whilst looking at them… that was a quick regret of mine, I almost felt I was being blinded! These give off a fantastic bright light, I really was surprised how bright these get. The light is even around the entire circle, which means no dimmer section anywhere. Using the control box, you can change the brightness up or down, there is 10 levels of brightness in total and another button to change between Warm, Natural or Cold. Note, when you plug these in, Windows doesn’t have to install anything at all, the USB port simply powers the device.Back to the control box on the cable, when the light is OFF and plugged in, the power button gives off a continuous blue light (see image) which can only be turned off by either unplugging the device or turning it on. The blue light is not on whilst the power is switched on. This could be a put off for many people but could easily be resolved by some black tape to hide the light, its not ideal but works.These could also be used via a USB plug or a battery pack, I tested these on various plugs and came across no issues. These could be used to put in cupboards or even as a torch if using the right item to power them, it can get that bright!Summary:I really do like this, great build quality on both parts, fantastic bright light. These can have more than one use, not just for putting on a screen, a really great product.

Good quality and well made selfie stick. Light weight and compact , great for trip, Bluetooth connection is great , remote control works fine , flexible rotation and a professional selfie light which takes perfect photos easy. Very please with it .

The lamp worked well giving control over the amount of light required to put on makeup.Then gradually it became difficult to turn on. After a little over 2 months it has failed and is not longer switching onI contacted the seller contacted and they offered a full refund or replacement, so in the end I am satisfied with the great Service.

This is my 3rd ring-light with monitor clamp that I have reviewed, but sadly not the greatest. First the positives, the light is brilliant, with a variety of tones and strengths suitable for most Zoom/Teams calls, or vlogging. Now that Autumn has arrived, my WFH set-up is a bit dark, and colleagues comment how dark I appear, but with the ring-light, they can see my face clear as day. The controls are straightforward enough, with the on/off switch, tone cycle light, and the strength up and down buttons.The problem is the clamp, if your monitor is slightly curved at the back (e.g. my iMac computer) then the clamp just can grip properly, but if it is a flat back monitor (e.g my HP monitor) then it is fine. Other ring-light clamps haven't had this issue for me before, so if you are predominately an iMac user, then you may need to consider other ring-lights available on Amazon.
