This desoldering tool is easy to hold and operate . Has a replaceable silicone tip, that can withstand the heat of the solder, and the soldering iron. It is made of metal, and well made. Very good value for the money. I highly recommend the purchase of it.

Only problem I have is when it's locked and I'm ready to pull up the molten solder, the button is hard to press and sometimes the tip moves as a result of the hard to press button push. I'm sure I'll get used to it and change my technique a bit. It's well built for sure.
