These shorts are the best, comparable to the Under Armor woven boys shorts. They are light weight and dry quickly. The zip pockets are key since teens are always carrying their phones and need a pocket for storage. My boys use them for biking and they are just the right length and have a drawstring for size. We are right between a large and extra large boys size and not quite ready for a men's size. These are not childish looking and resemble the men's style. I highly recommend for your active kids.

These are made from a soft and durable tech material that my son really likes. He likes that he can move freely, keep cool, and dry quickly. The zipper pocket also keeps his phone secure while he is playing, preventing it from falling out of his pocket when riding his bicycle. He previously wore only a certain kind of under armor shorts but they stopped making them. We searched for a satisfactory replacement for over a year. Now these are the only shorts he will wear. For reference, my son is 10 years old, 4’11†and 100lbs with a muscular/athletic build and wearing a size large. They are definitely big in the waist on him and a medium probably would have fit better. They have a draw string and he grows fast so we decided to keep the large.

Good quality shorts. My son likes that they have pockets. He has had them for several months and they are holding up well.

My son uses both the black and khaki shorts for golfing. The zipper pocket is perfect for that. They're comfortable so more like athletic shorts instead of dress shorts but look nice with his polo.

These are really nice shorts. They look good and feel lightweight. They are also well made and the zippers are smooth. The length is nice but the elastic waistband is just a touch small. My son is 9 and 85 lbs. I ordered him the 10-12 which is his normal size but he will probably grow out of them before the season is over.
