Bright work light. Perfect for working on my F250. Hooks extend by pulling them straight out. Then snap back when removed. Light can be rotated. I have many dewalt batteries so easy choice for me using this light.

It doesnt consume too much power, is decently bright, and is durable. I would love it to have a little more light output but I like my workspace to be brighter than most would perfer probably. The only recoemndations for me would be to add another row of LEDs, maybe make it so it could be plugged in with an extension cord but thats about it. Someone took their time on this product and thought through the uses for sure. Well done.

Good product, can turn ends to hold either way, bright lite- hubbie liked it to see under hood without holding his own light, but may need additional light if working under hood. Does not come with batteries, expensive but 3 yr warranty and dewalt name made it worth while

I really love this light! It has made car repair possible during the winter, when days are short, and also, when extra light is needed for work in the engine bay. I have had the light for a couple of days and I have already used it for 12+ hrs. I like the I can cycle through my dewalt 20v batteries to keep it running. Conveniently, the batteries last long enough, on the highest brightness setting, to fully charge a fresh 20v battery. This is great, because with just two batteries swapped between the charger and the light, you can keep this thing going for as long as you need, and have all your extra batteries free for your ratchets and impacts!For some users, there are a few downsides. The light does not include batteries or a charger, so if you aren’t already using DeWalt 20v tools, by the time you buy a charger and some batteries, the light will get very expensive. Another con is that the light is heavy and most cars’ hood-struts won’t support it. If you are already on the DeWalt platform, this is a great light and is versatile beyond work under the hood.

Possuo diversos produtos Dewalt (tanto ferramentas como iluminação). Esse produto não me decepcionou. Excelente versatilidade e iluminação potente. Apesar de funcionar com baterias 12V, a autonomia é bem baixa. Contudo, ao utilizar o produto com uma bateria 20V de 4ah ou mais, a autonomia é enorme.

Just buy this light.I'm used to using Snap-On products, but I wanted to give my money to another company. This light is very well designed, and is super functional. Two brightness settings, and you can switch between lighting the left or right banks only, or use both sides at once. It's also great for interior work. Just open the doors, and it'll hang off of the roof edges, on the inside of the vehicle. It also has some rotation to it, to find the right angle. It's lasts a very long time between charges with the 5Ah batteries that I'm using. I can actually see what I'm doing, while working on an engine.My advice: Buy this light, and get an aftermarket battery (or two) and a charger. And, don't let anyone borrow it.

I used to use one of those standard lights you hang under the hood or some other spot light for working on cars. They provided some decent lighting but it's usually concentrated in one spot.Well, things have changed with this setup. It lights up your entire workspace so you can see everything! I've used it for detailing interior of vehicles and working under the hood on vehicles.The end hooks are adjustable for length. You can also rotate the ends for gripping onto surfaces. The light bar leaves a low profile and I haven't found it to be in the way when working with it.It folds up in half for storage and if you are already invested in the DeWalt ecosystem, batteries just pop right in.
