The lighter weight and size of this compact saw is great for many jobs. I paired it with a DeWalt 5AH PowerStack battery and this saw is very powerful. It crosscuts and rips with ease.I do not miss using corded saws at this point.

I gave away most of my Tools... and the ones I have left are with a Cord.... Cordless is the way to go.. DeWalt is as far as I am concerned the Best. I am enjoying doing this work again. Thank You and I recommend DeWalt Highly

I mainly use DeWalt and Makita tools, both are good, I had a Makita and wanted to try the DeWalt, both are good for me, I do not do construction, only on my own property, I do like the DeWalt brake as makes less likely to accidently cutting anything. it cuts smooth, and seems to have plenty of power.

I always spend more for Dewalt because I've never had any issues with their products. When I got this saw I tried it out with a couple of 2 ah batteries and it would not make a cut without stopping. The LED light would start flashing and I did not know what that meant. The instruction book is really all warnings of what not to do and didn't list a recommended battery size or what the flashing LED meant. I ordered a couple of 4 ah batteries, and they seem to work. I later saw some YouTubes about the saw where the comments stated that 5, 6, or 8 and 9 ah batteries are much better. Had I known that, I would have ordered the bigger batteries with the saw. We will see how it does when I actually use it.Update: it works just fine on 4 ah batteries but have at least 2 so one can always be charging. 5 ah or 6 ah would probably be much better.

I received the DCS565B (tool-only option) saw in an unmarked brown box. Along with the saw, I found the dust chute attachment, and the wrench snugly sitting in the holder on the right side of the saw's handle. Additionally, there were the usual paperwork and documents (manuals and notice sheets) However, I initially thought the T18 rippling blade was missing. The unmarked brown packaging made me doubtful about the saw's authenticity. Two days later, I carefully checked the packaging again and found the Dewalt 6-1/2" T18 ripping saw blade press-packed in a brown cardboard sheet, which had initially seemed like scrap cardboard. The 6-1/2" saw is just the right size and weight for me, and with all items accounted for, I am very pleased with the purchase.

This is my first cordless circular saw got tired of running for a extension cord or them not being long enough, the saw it's self nice sleak design the rafter hook works great , saw cuts nice with a 5ah battery on I put a 6ah flex volt battery on it and that improved its performance even more the blade that came with it did as it should did nice clean easy cuts every time ,overall solid saw do recommend

Esta sierra si estudian bien sus especificaciones, se darán cuenta qué cubre el 97% o 98% del requerimientos DIY el porcentaje faltante lo cubro con un serrucho japonés, la potencia, el peso permite una alta productividad, con el tiempo disponible se logra más. Compre una baterÃa de 5Ah y dura jornadas con gran carga de trabajo. Estoy muy contento con mi compra y la recomiendo, es un sierra de trabajo pesado.
