This is a great inpact wrench, plenty of power and not too heavy. So far I've only used it for a tire rotation but finished in record time.

Finally purchased this for under $200. It's very heavy duty and has just the right amount of power. It's not heavy and very compact. Can't go wrong with it.

I recently have been in a bit of a buying spree when it comes to automotive tools. Mostly due to me being a novice.But I've been debating the difference between Milwaukee, Dewalt and some of Harbor freight brands. And I gotta say I almost caved in for Hercules, although I might return for them someday.This tool made a good first impression, I used it for one time and simply exchanged it for a stronger model with more torque.It is lightweight, easy to handle and it doesn't feel brittle. I am rather ignorant about Dewalts sub lines, like the atomic series compact nature as well as the XR series which tends to mean "extra power".I suggest you pick it up for $170 maybe a bit more. But the torque that it delivers is great for the money you're spending. But overtime depending on what application you use it for. I don't think it's meant to take on heavy machinery. Just standard civilian vehicles and bolts you can find in commercial sites.

I did a lot of research and this Dewalt impact wrench is by far the best bang for your buck.Very powerful...I've used it many times to remove truck and car lug nuts, old rusted suspension bolts, and it made quick work of heavily corroded lugs on my larger boat trailer that has been in and out of saltwater for the past 5 years.Bottom line, Dewalt makes the best power tools and this impact wrench is an outstanding product. Highly recommend going with this one.I swap the battery between my Dewalt drill and the impact wrench. The larger Dewalt batteries last forever, I've never even run these batteries all the way down even after sitting for 6+ months in the garage without charging.

Unfortunately I have to take a star off. Why? Made in Chin a. Some of you aren’t old enough and don’t know the whole Dewalt saga. It started out as made in america and a premium brand above black and decker. We bought dewalt because they were the best AND they were made in America. They assured us the factories wouldn’t move. Production would stay here. We accepted black and decker closing because we now had dewalt which cost more, but we paid it because it was MADE IN AMERICA.Today dewalt finds it necessary to increasingly make their products in comm unist chi na. That’s spaced out because Amazon AI sometimes doesn’t like that. What a shame. Buying American matters. It’s unfortunate dewalt is going down this road so many companies do after they become established and popular.The tool itself is fine. Smaller honestly than I expected. So far it’s a beast. I expect great things because it’s a dewalt. What I am not prepared to accept is them being made in unfriendly countries.

They work good for anything you need to rip a bolt off of, priced is reasonable for what you get. I just hope it outlasts me, for what little usage it will get around here.

The DEWALT 20V MAX 1/2" Mid-Range Impact Wrench (DCF891B) is perfect for automotive work. Great impact wrench, hog ring works well, the different torque level settings help for when you don't want to overtighten something.Have yet to find something I can't break free with it on my cars.
