Excellent tool, again DeWalt delivers, I've used on several metal roofing jobs, cuts easy, very easy to maneuver while cutting, gets into right spots easy. It will scratch the metal when cutting, so make sure the scratches either hide or go onto the cutoff material. Batteries have great life, I'm using a 4 AH battery and make many cuts with them. Great tool!

Nice item, I used it to cut 26 gauge corrugated steel. Worked really well on flat area and is okay on crosscuts but does bugger it up a little but I just made sure cuts were hidden behind j channel

These are great tools, they take some figuring out to cut trim or ribbed metal, you just have to figure out how to walk it through.I have high school shop students figure it out in a period. If you are going to do alot of work I would spend the bucks on the 6.0 Ah batteries.

So happy I bought this for my steel siding jobs. Just get ripples depending which way you cut so plan ahead.

Struggles to cut corrugated roof sheets on a rake. Head assembly to big, sheers to small. Swivel doesnt stay in lock position. Waist of my money. Ended up buying milwaukee shears with dewalt battery adaptor
