I have used air impact wrenches for decades in my home garage. This tool is so much better to use. It’s quieter than the air impact wrench. It’s more controllable and much easier to get in tighter places. The battery life is much longer than I expected too. I wish I had purchased one of these years ago!

Replaced my Bauer impact driver I was using. So much more responsive than my Bauer product. Great light and power for the size. I needed a compact impact and this is perfect for me. I'll most likely purchase the DeWalt DCF891 for it's class leading power in the future. For now the small size works. I'm using powerstack batteries that came with my DeWalt right angle DCF512

I can't imagine a 3/8" drive impact wrench having more power than this unit. And, it's fairly well controlled. I would have liked better control over lower torque levels (say, 40 ft-lbs to 80 ft-lbs) but I don't think this tool is designed for under 100 ft-lbs applications. So I use a drill-driver for lower torque applications (and a torque wrench).It's compact and not very heavy. My 80+ year-old desk-job hands appreciate this.

I’m a Dewalt fan and have almost a complete line to cordless tools. I was needing a small 3/8†impact and snagged this one. I’m very impressed with the long term results and durability! Size is spot on, weights is a bit on the heavy side but makes the tool feel durable. Excellent torque performance, great value and functional. What more can you want.

Bought this to add to my collection and I have to say it is an animal. I know it's not the XR series impact but it does everything I need it to do. Love the setting options. Love the way it feels in my hand. Love the way it performs. Good purchase for sure.

I've steered away from cordless tools, because I'm terrible about recharging but the battery life on this is fantastic! I've used it several days in a row with no power loss. I really like that it's compact and able to get in tight spaces easily. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have big hands and I keep accidentally hitting the reverse button when gripping it. That's the trade-off for compact power and I'll take it over a bulky corded drill any day!

Purchased to replace an older unit that had an unfortunate dip into some 10w30 and I should have bought it sooner. Well balanced with a 5AH battery and does everything a 3/8 gun should.
