If you are a contractor, this is a great tool, especially if you are limiting time down the scaffold. It can clip to your rig, and makes your speed much better. Cuts clean, and its light weight. If you are a pro, you know the slower you go, the less you make. I like to go fast. This tool accomplishes that, and reduces the risk of silicosis from dust.

This unit due to scissor action cuts way down on dust. This tool is much easier to use to make custom cuts in cement siding boards for fitting around windows/doors than any previous saw or blade based solution I have tried. One battery charge last through hundreds of cuts even long window/door type. Without a cord, I have been able to trim cement siding boards while on the scaffolding unlike the process needed when using a saw.

Makes nice cuts, the cut waste is thicker, and not quite so dusty as a sawblade. Batteries last quite a while.

it cuts 1/4, it cuts 1/2 just fine and a singke battery will do a shower no problem.I saw a corded version and was a bit nervous about 20V ... but it's greatNot knowing blade life , I may start looking for spares now.now the only issue is not the tools fault but likely 'nature of the beast' as well as user practice .... and that is 'accuracy' .... where my first shower had some wiggles that I would have prefered not to have to fill in .... but not a big deal

This thing is absolutely amazing! Biggest pro is the little amount of dust. Biggest con is… nothing! The battery life is unbelievable, I can work an in tire day and only use 1/4 of a battery. It cuts like butter and the rip cuts are crazy accurate too. All in all, if you’re siding mor than 500 sq ft then this thing is worth every penny!

Great for cutting Fiber Cement Board without the dusty mess. This presses a 1/4†strip as it moves along the board. It damn near cuts itself, so easy. Say goodbye to the dust storm of a circular saw or the repeated scoring of a utility knife. Save the headache, spend the money, get this tool !!

After using a knife on 0.4" Hardybacker cement board, I knew I couldn't do an entire media wall because it would take me days, not to mension blissters and poor cuts. This machine makes it easy and fast. You would not beleive how many times you need to fine tune your cuts. With this, it's very easy. If I never use it again, it was worth it. On other low density cement board, it mashes the cuts. Seems like it's made for Hardybacker.

Battery lasts longer than I'd have guessed, it could be better at clearing the chips to make seeing your line more clear.Worth the cost, one blade did a house and still going strong.
