So many cases are a simple bag -- fold the glasses, put inside the bag. Problem is, while folded and being moved about, the temple piece tips slide back and forth across the plastic lens -- rubbing a big permanent scratch spot on the lens.But this case EXCELS ! This case protects the lens from the temple pieces ... and from everything else.The case is a tight fit -- so that the cover stays in place.The bit of lens outside the case is on the far outside -- not on the focal area of the lens.I use this DeWalt case on *all* my safety glasses ... clear, yellow, bronze, different brands. All the wraparound styles need a case like this DeWalt protective sleeve.

The glasses are sharp & clear and magnificaiton spot on. The protective sleeve is so tight I cannot imagine using it without tearing up the glasses getting it on or off. Oh well

Any plastic safety glasses are consumables around the shop. I like to tryto find items that have good optical clarity, impact resistance and arecomfortable to wear. I also try to get all this without spending a hugeamount of money. Now my over 44 eyes are changing somewhat. I need some help and decided to try these. They work brilliantly and are available in various strengths. I do like the 2.0 for really close work, but I bought a couple of 1.5 from the same seller. For me, the 1.5 is even better for general shop work and seems very close to my eyeglass prescription. I find the magnifiers to be a good size. The optical clarity is very good for this price level. The glasses fit me well and are comfortable to leave on for hours. Like any plastic lens, you need to be careful or you will scratch them. I do like the neoprene "sock" provided to protect them when not wearing. Warm running water and a good microfiber cloth are all I use to keep them very clean. If you are a bit careful they will last a long time. For the money, it is no big problem to keep a couple of spares and replace them if/when needed. I am a serious professional user, the home person/hobbyist may not need more than one pair for a very long time. I am very happy with this product and intend to buy more from the same seller. AAA Industrial Supply has provided excellent, fast service. If you need safety glasses with magnifiers, try this product before spending a lot more money on prescription safety glasses.

This pair of safety glasses is the most comfortable I've ever used. At times, I forget that I'm even wearing them. Another thing I like is that the lens for seeing up close is at the right height. When I'm looking straight ahead, I don't notice the lens at all. I can read or do delicate work without having to adjust my glasses.

I use this product in my workshop where i require the safety aspect and the sight enhancement for accurate measuring and tool adjustments A wonderful product that combines all that you need to operate power tools and precision neasurements.

First my main Con (why I only give them 3 stars):This is my second pair. I returned the first pair and asked for a replacement. Actually I ordered clear Bifocals and a pair of smoked bifocals. I returned both pair. The reason? Scratched lenses right out of the packaging. The clear pair of safety glasses in the replacement order also arrived with a scratched lens, the second pair of smoked lenses were not. The scratches seem to be caused by the packaging. I ordered them in the Frustration Free packaging so the standard packaging may not cause similar damage. My guess, based on what I can see is the glasses jiggling loose inside the packaging, plastic lens against plastic container scratches the outside of the lenses where they rub the container. Not good. I decided to keep the clear pair this time. The scratches won't interfere with my vision, they are only on the right lens and slightly right of my right eye's direct field of vision, but still within my peripheral vision, annoying. I'd let Dewalt know about this problem if I knew how. No one whats to pay this kind of money for scratched glasses.Pros:The 1.5 bifocal portion on each lens is clear and works well. Freeing me from having to switch back and forth to my readers when trying to read a tape measure or ruler. Plus the bifocal sections are located low enough that I easily can look over them when I don't need them, which is most of the time. So, I really like this feature.The nose bridge pads are rubber and very comfortable.The clear and the smoked glasses are identical other than the tinting in the smoked lenses for sunny outdoor work. The no magnifying portion of the lenses are not distorted and easy to look through, not counting the scratches.The protective cover sleeve is a thick stretchy fabric that protects the lenses and holds the glasses securely. It has a small plastic clip hook that will fit over a normal width belt loop, say on a pair of jeans.Minor Con:The protective sleeve is very tight I worry I'm going to break my glasses when pulling it over them. I've only done it a few times so far and so far so good. hopefully that will continue.I took several pretty good pictures of the glasses, protective sleeve and Packaging, but it appears Amazon is no longer allowing customer product photos.

I’m happy with these glasses. They fit well and are comfortable. I only gave 4 stars, as the magnified area is just a bit too small. Still very useful, and very handy to have in the workshop.
