I initially bought the Bosch 7 pack and on the first day of a basement project, one bit broke into two, and another twisted in halfThis product on the other hand is top quality. 4 inch length is also the perfect balance between length and rigidity - it's very unlikely you'll need to go much deeper than 3-3.5 inches.I'm probably going to buy another set just as a backup.

At one time I used a regular drill bit to go through brick. Took it nice and slow and managed to make it through. Well, I figured cinder block would do the same. Wrong! Bought this to help out and BOY did it make a difference. It walked on me at first so my holes didn't light up perfectly but it was good enough to mount the key pad for my property gate.

I needed 28 holes drilled to a depth of 3" into a concrete block wall using a hammer drill. A single drill bit got through half the job before needing to be replaced. I'm not complaining, all masonry drill bits wear out, especially those under 1/2". Just use my experience to plan for your job.

This thing definitely did the job. Did NOT use a hammer drill and still was able to get through the cinder block very easily. Only used a couple of times and hasn't broken. Nice for price

The tip of this bit chipped on its first use drilling a 3/4" hole in concrete. I was still able to get the hole drilled but I was disappointed that it chipped so quickly.
