Nails are nails not much to say but they work fine. The only thing to note is the description says "Resists moisture and rust" but the box says to use them indoors only.

I'm in the process of insulating my off grid cabin. An issue I overlooked (and was kicking myself for not catching it beforehand) is the underfloor needs to be insulated to R-30. That requires a 9 inch pocket between floor joists. The problem is I used 2x8 lumber for my floor joists, providing only 7 1/2" of pocket space. So, what to do???Well, I ordered a bunch of 2x2x8 furring strips and used these DEWALT DCS16250 2-1/2-Inch 16 gauge finish nails in my Metabo straight finish nailer and got busy nailing the 2x2s to extend all of my floor joists to a 9 inch pocket.After planting well over 1,500 finish nails, I'm pleased to report that these Dewalt 2-1/2 inch nails did not jam or misfire once! They made short work of fixing my oversight. The insulation is now in and will pass inspection.I highly recommend these Dewalt 16 ga. x 2 -1/2" finish nails.
