Measuring sq footage for bids has never been easier or faster. I don’t really use the app. Definitely satisfied with the purchase.

Needed to measure square footage and some linear measurements…this things works awesome! Has a function so you can do area or even cubic if you need. Made it super easy to calculate for flooring, especially on a mixed level house

It's a decent measure. Doesn't zap batteries and fairly easy to use. It definitely has some issues with long measurements, especially in the sun, and when you take short measurements it takes like 10-20 seconds to register. I've always had problems with DeWalt laser measures. The expensive one I bought started having issues within a year and DeWalt basically told me I was full of it and brushed me off. We'll see how this one turns out. Beats Bosch, that one is garbage.

Bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband and he loved it! DeWalt is a trustworthy brand and it didn't disappoint. He had just taken some measurements for a project and using this gave almost exactly the same measurements - he was very pleased. And I didn't have to hold the measuring tape! ;-)

This takes some getting used to, and it’s not just point at a wall for the results, but the accuracy is amazing once you figure it out. My husband uses this with the laser level, and has been blown away at how much easier his life is.
