This is a replacement for an oscillating saw I purchased a couple of decades ago. The difference is night and day, this unit cuts so much faster and you can feel the quality just by picking it up. The ease of changing blades is wonderful. No issues w/12 volt vs. the heavier and longer 20 volt. Very satisfied.

This highly versatile tool is good to have in you box if you do a lot of the odd jobs you encounter when doing repairs or restorations. It's very handy for making cuts in hard to access places. The available small width blade options allow for accurate cuts where other types of saws might cause damage that would complicate the job.

I have owned two 20v dewalt oscillating multitools and they are great. Currently still have and use my atomic version. I am a pro finish carpenter and having a multi/oscillating saw is essential for many tasks I perform nearly every day. What I love about dewalt’s 12v line of tools is how small and handy they are while being surprisingly powerful for their size. I own four 12v drills and impact drivers and use them more than their 20v counterparts because they can do so many tasks with ease. This tool is no exception! It is almost as powerful as the 20v while being shorter, lighter and more compact. Perfect for cutting off shims and trimming hard to reach materials. The belt clip is a great addition that the 20v version does not have. Just make sure you remember it’s hanging off your rig- jabbed the blade on my calf once climbing a ladder lol. The trade-off on the size is the handle is somewhat shorter in your hand, so not quite as comfortable or ergonomic- But not really a complaint as it makes it that much more handy in size. I don’t believe it is a hot seller since the price is almost the same as the 20 V, but I think it is much more useful for 90% of the tasks it was intended for. Very pleased with it and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Lo compre sin fijarme que tamaño de baterÃa es. Solo me.deje llevar por el precio. Este es el 12 V. Yo tengo el 18V. Por lo pronto son excelentes herramientas.

La herramienta es original y nueva. En mi caso y por falta de información en la página de dewalt he tenido qué regresar la herramienta por no ser compatible con mi sistema de baterÃas, 20 volts.
