I looked at this item for weeks at several stores and Amazon. This item came up used at Amazon for a good price so I promptly ordered it. I use it in a machine shop and it works great for bolting projects down. I had a Black and Decker battery ratchet 30 years ago and loved it until the batteries died Buyers need to realize it’s not an impact wrench, not likely to loosen lug nuts on car tires. I chose the Dewalt because I already had batteries from cordless drills

This will save you some labor when you need to spin on/off a lot of fasteners under and around a car. The only con is that it's extremely loud when next to your head.

I pushed 1 star back because I didn't know that it didn't come with a "battery " this was a Christmas present and it broke my heart that either I didn't read or it was not in description 💔 but functional like it should be speed is great for working the weight is light so easy to hold and the torque is pretty strong for this little machine it is a value for the money just know it DOES NOT come with a battery

I already have the 20v 1/2 inch version, but this is perfect for working on smaller items and is much lighter using the small battery. 3/8 is the sweet spot for working on items that are not needing massive torque to wrench. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure how this would do for me but turns out it's better than my co-workers Milwaukee! I have used it every day and the battery last longer than expected. Now i'm thinking about the 1/2"" drive model.
