These things are a great energy saver. Tried on a year ago and finally got around to ordering two more for the patio lights. Simply set the dial and plug everything in and you’re done. They claim to be waterproof and they are. Ours are exposed to blistering sun, (Arizona), rain, cold etc. without any cover and they have yet to fail. I don’t know if Dewenwils is the least expensive but I have a number of their other electronic switch times and they have worked flawlessly for years. Great product that is simple to set up and saves you money at the very least.

Install, set, and forget. They.re on when it’s dark, and off when it’s daylight. That’s what I wanted, and this delivered.

I really like the convenience of having the timer automatically turn on at sunset. It's so much easier than messing around with a timer and trying to get multiple timers synched up. The only minor issue is that their sensitivity to light and/or where you have the timer located might effect when it comes on. Mine are not synched up perfectly but they are within 10 mins of each other. I'm not sure if it's positioning or the sensor, but not a big deal either way. Used for 2 seasons and no issues thus far.

A great price for a GREAT product. The outdoor elements (i.e., daily sun) breakdown the timer pretty quickly, though.

Super easy - plug in, choose the "time on" and bam. Done. I use these outdoors for Christmas lights. No instructions necessary.Dusk to dawn - just what it sounds like2, 4, 6 or 8 hour - They come on at dusk and stay on for that many hours each nightOn/off - just what it says. Always on or always off.

I had looked @ these for a long time & I wish I had bought them right away. They are made well & they work great! Not very big, with 1 plug in, which is what I wanted. Recommended for sure!
