Outdoor Light Sensor and Countdown Timer
Notes:
- Do not attach a device that exceed the unit ratings.
- Make sure the timer is placed far from artificial lights to avoid interference. The timer is daily repeat after setting, in case of power failure it will stop operating. Once power is restored, reset the desired operating mode as the operating instructions.
- In order to avoid water getting into the outlets, the timer should be mounted in a vertical position with the outlets facing downward and at least 2ft above ground level.

This was a game changer for outdoor lights: just plug in lights, there are even 2 sockets and wait for dusk for lights to turn on!! Also has other timer options but this was the easiest. Ingenious. I’d definitely buy again!

I ordered this in 2021 and have it used it for our outdoor Christmas lights every year since. It works awesome! Set it to "d" and it reliably turns on at dusk, and off at dawn. Every day of the holiday season, every year. Absolutely love it, great investment!

Nice timer, works great for our low voltage driveway lighting. Would be nice to have some sort of internal battery to remember settings if the power flickers but is easy enough to set. Have bought several over the last few years for different areas of the yard and am well pleased with the performance. I have one that has been in constant use for 5 years with no issues except for resetting after power outages.

This switch works great for turning on christmas lights. It turns on at dusk and off at the amount of time you choose. Also kept working after raining. I have also used this model for lights around my pool all summer long.

Easy to use and one of the only outdoor timers that include a "1-hour after dusk" option. I've had it in use for half a year here in the rainy pacific northwest, and it has been operating like a champ.

This one replaces another that was many years old. If this one lasts as long as the previous I will be a very satisfied customer. I use this to control my little lights that are in jackson vine. I love the look and my porch is nicely lite at night.

The ‘dust-to-dawn’ sensor of my outdoor lighting (OL) transformer, failed in the on position (always on both day and night). I installed the DEWENWILS Outdoor Timer /sensor, in-between the power-plug of the transformer - with the faulty sensor, and the home outdoor power outlet.Set the “Timerâ€, and tested the new, surrogate sensor by covering it with my hand, after short delay the lights came ‘ON’, and likewise ‘OFF’ when I removed my hand. How quick and easy was that!Update: Purchased original April 2024 and after five months the 'Dusk to Dawn' sensor failed. So just bought another, rather then goes thru the return process. We'll see how long the new lasts?

I do like this timer very much it’s made hardy for the weather and has lasted through all seasons at this point. It has multiple options for timing which is great including dusk to dawn. One recommendation - my only complaint, as this unit is digital it has no memory and when unplugged or power goes out the unit needs to be reset as it defaults to the off setting. Still a great product and serves our garden well.

Stoped working after snow fall, LED number window fogged up. Try to dry it but started making humming noice after. They would not refund me.DO NOT BUY THIS FOR OUTDOOR USE
