I love this handy lamp! It has a plug-in and switch on the cord which I needed in my workshop in the dark garage. Works very well and was easy to assemble and hang. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

I love this light, it was easy to assemble and adds character to the space. The cord is very long which is nice , plugs right into the wall and has an easy flip on/off switch. The cover is nicely made fabric and looks nice when the light is on. Will be purchasing more !

Item is small than it looks. It is not substantial and very light weight. Assembly was easy. The shade wraps around wire and is held at the seam with Velcro.

I've read many reviews and so wanted to address some of the complaints. The light is small, but in the description it states that the diameter is 12". My table is small so I thought it would still work fine. Also, for those who had different sized hoops for top and bottom...mine were the same size so I would think you could return the item if that were the case. I also noticed in some of the pictures that others posted that they installed the top hoop that holds the light, upside down. It should all be contained within the shade. If installed upside down, the nut that fastens the socket to the hoop will not sit flat and therefore will not have a solid connection.There are 5 clips that hold the shade to the hoops and velcro to hold the shade tight. For me, it was a perfect fit. I clipped both hoops on and had to pull it very tightly and fasten the velcro. It left a very smooth tight finish.It literally took me 5 minutes to put together without looking at instructions. For those who say it is a cheap lamp....yes, it is cheap, that's why I bought it. But I think it looks beautiful and is exactly what I needed to fill the space.

The large plastic nut necessary to actually attach the fixture to the shade was missing.. Without the ability to attach the two together, you don't have much of a lamp.. The "Perfect" example of a 2cent part ruining a buying experience and garnering you a poor review..Your Paying "Quality Control" entirely too much........ The Shade needs to be assembled too, that wasn't described..... You get what you pay for and I didn't pay quite enough it seems...........

We have been using this plug-in pendant in our dining room for the last several months. It arrived quickly, was very easy to put together, and looks great - especially for the price! I love that it provides enough light without being stark and that the shade is neutral enough to go with just about anythingMy two rather small complaints are likely not to be an issue for most buyers. In our case, the cord length and pieces provided to hang the pendant didn't really work with our set up (hanging it over a dining table in a room with just one outlet).Overall though, definitely recommend for anyone needing a pendant lamp on a budget!
