Firstly, I like this very much. Works as intended and seems well constructed.The filter holder fits the Seestar firmly and you can have confidence that it won't fall out.The dew shield mounts onto the filter holder so you need that piece even if you aren't using a filter. That's OK.The collapsable dew shield requires a slight clockwise twist to lock the rings in place. Another twist counterclockwise unlocks the rings to collapse. The collapsed dew shield takes very little storage space.An elegant, well designed 2-in-1 solution.

It does exactly as stated. Each to use. Pictures have gotten cleaner; less “noise†from ambient light and fits in the existing carry case.
