This is the highest quality weed barrier on the market and I have tried many. I burned holes into it for use in a cut flower garden and it is excellent. The 12†lines are great for reference and keeping it straight.

Very easy to roll out and place. Nice and thick but keep in mind it is a weave so it gets “thready†at cuts. Heat will help seal it.

I gave a rating of 3 because the order was short. Seems to be excellent quality, BUT the item description stated 6 ft wide and 250 ft long. The roll I received was short about 25 ft in length. I used this fabric to cover flower beds that surround an inground pool and covered it with rock. Made arrangements to have help spreading the rock. Unfortunsately, we could not finish the job because the roll of landscape fabric was about 25 ft short. We carefully measured the area before placing the order to make sure that the 250 length was sufficient to complete the job. Consequently, we will have to order more fabric and make other arrangements to get the rest of the rock spread out.

I have been using this weed fabric for a few years now and it has made gardening so easy. No weeds anywhere. I tried the fabric sold at the big box stores and the weeds just grew right through them. The Dewitt fabric is what you want. I have left it down through the winter, and I have also taken it up when I wanted to rearrange my layout or add large amounts of compost. You won't be sorry for getting it and kick yourself for not doing it earlier.
