GREASE SEALS should be inspected frequently and replaced if they show signs of wear such as excess grease build up on the inside of wheel hub or trailer rim. I live 12 tomo 14 miles depending on the direction you take from town. Seems like every time I really need something I have to order it from Amazon. Thankfully the manufacturer had correct information on the grease seals since I'm hitting the road Tuesday and without theses I wouldn't be able to travel.

These seals arrived in what was ostensibly Dexter packaging. There is no emboss in the metal carrier like in the listing picture. The seals I replaced also did not have a Dexter emboss. Upon cleaning the bearings, I noted the made in China reference. I bought the trailer new nine years ago and both bearings and seals were original. I was curious enough to contact Dexter direct and inquired as to the origin of the seals they supply. I was told they are sourced from over-seas. If I was to guess, I would say the seals are Chinese as well. As for fitment and repacking - all went well. Though the seals required a press for removal.

Original Equipment Dexter products are the best protection for my RV investment. I am fastidious about my RV bearing service and inspect and repack every two years or 10 K miles, whichever comes first. These seals perform flawlessly and give me peace of mind when on the road.

Packaging of the seals say dexter but seal do not have the dexter stamping with part #. These seals are not dexter and should not be sold as so. There is other options that I could have purchased but I thought I was getting name brand for the extra cost I spent on theses. Very un happy with this companies sneaky business practices.
