Installation Steps
1. Disconnect the power of microwave.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the panel on the bottom of the microwave.
3. It's probably held in place with some silicone. You'll need to cut off this silicone, or floss it to remove it.
4. After removing the silicone, just unscrew the old one and put on the new one.

Don’t spend 5x the amount for a single bulb at Lowes. These are great and you have backups for 2-3 years. We all know we forget every trip to buy one.

After many years my older microwave oven finally lost its light inside the cooking cavity. I tried some LED replacements and they only lasted a couple of weeks. There seemed to be voltage spikes on the AC powerline which destroyed the LEDs. Anyhow I'm back to using filament lights which continue to work fine.
