Excellent choice for cushioning between gas tank and the hanger straps to keep metal off of metal ðŸ‘. It's narrow enough to hide bur wide enough to do the job. Very well made and having one side sticky helps keep things in line . I'd buy it again knowing it's worthy of my money. I actually bought 2 different brands and am not certain of the sticky backing on one side because I have only open one of the two but I'm absolutely sure one is as good as the other . For the record I used some of the roll that has the red film over the sticky should this be important to the potential buyer . I do try to think of others and what their needs may be when I post feedback . I can see where either of my choices could be handy for other things like cushioning old car and truck window tracks and such . I won't ever leave crap like, "it worked for my application ". Duh huh !Have a blessed one . Or two

I pealed off the backing of an 8†strip, wiped my area off and cleaned and wax on my paint of my car, stuck well? The next day or so was hanging off? The rubber is good the glue isn’t.

Ordered white received black. Does not stick to metal. Smells terrible.
