We have an old green kitchen garbage can that's like rubber maid.You can't get them in green and the spring broke for the lid. So very happy we found these springs so we didn't have to spend $80 or more for another one especially since they don't make green anymore.

I have a little trash can & the spring on one side of the lid broke. These were exactly what I needed.

Does what it's supposed to ... they might seem long but you have to force them in , do not cut them otherwise they will be too loose and they will fall out.If your lid seems slow to come up , most likely one of the two springs fell to the bottom of the trash bin , this kit of 10 should outlast my two similar garbage cans !
