This futon is too upright with no option to adjust it. So, when you sit on it, it is not comfortable. The cushion is comfortable once you convert it to a bed. So, if you are using this mostly for guests coming over to sleep on, it is worth the purchase. If you need to sit on it on a daily basis with an occasional use for an overnight guest, look elsewhere.

The frame has a lot of parts but it is fairly simple to assemble. The directions are clear. However, when in bed form, it has a tendency to tip over while climbing off. All the support is directed at the center of the frame but not much on the back or front. Other than that, throw a 4 inch full size, cooling memory foam on top of the mattress and it's comfortable as can be. It also has a somewhat classy look to it. The tan mattress and the dark wood arms blend together nicely.

All the parts are there. Steps are marked pretty good. Took my son and I about an hour. Well built. Mattress not very thick but it’s ok.

I purchased this futon for my daughter as her bed. The delivery was on time. The bed itself sucks. This is not a true mattress. I have purchased a mattress pad HOPING it improves the mattress.I think sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable. Sleeping on this mattress (what they call a mattress) is like sleeping on the frame. You feel ALL the metal bars.If i could send this back, I would.This is not worth the cost. I'm truly very unhappy with this purchase.I wish I could give this no stars.

The frames not too bad, tho it’s not too good either. The mattress is horrible to sleep on though and I had to spend a couple hundred dollars more on a better one. If you plan to sleep on a futon I highly recommend buying your frame and mattress separately instead of wasting money on this one.

Assembly is not easy because there are lots of pieces and it's bulky. Instructions, however, are exceptionally clear and logical. All the parts and tools required were included. Very comfortable. Easily worth the price.
