Works to adapt my outdoor antenna to my indoor cellular modem.I don’t have equipment to evaluate signal loss but the combination of the antenna and cable+adapter and the signal to noise ratio of my cellular connection has vastly improved.If you need it you need it and it works.

On my boat, I have heavy LMR-400 coax coming down from the upper deck, and it feeds a panel-mounted Home Patrol 2. I made a quick angle bracket to support this on the back side of the panel, and with a bit of extra strain relief on the heavy stuff it takes care of that transition (where a stack of adapters would put way too much stress on the receiver's delicate connector).

This worked ok, until it broke. The crimping was not done tightly. The wire just pulled out.
