This item did what I needed tuned my truck to 93 octane and eliminated DOD/AFM which is what I was expecting to get rid of and transmission to shifting firm and 20% throttle response. This made my truck shift better and overall perform like it should have. The instructions are very clear but make sure you update it. Got it for the right price as well and now my truck is growling like it should.

If you're on the fence about this product just do it! I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi. Before loading the Diablo 91 octane tune my truck had slow sloppy shifting and throttle response was so slow. At cruising speed I had to nearly floor the pedal to get it to down shift and it just felt bogged down. Now with the Diablo tune the response is instant!! It's almost scary. My truck has alway had good traction on dry and even wet roads but now it will light the tires up on both. I've had to change the way I drive to keep her planted. I will say that the improvement was not immediate. It was probably the 3rd day after loading the tune when everything clicked with the tune. The most beneficial adjustment was the throttle response adjustment option. It gives you the option to adjust response 1% to 20%. Do the 20%! It will make you fall in love with your hemi all over again! Go lightem up!!(Update) Can't express enough how important it is to make sure your engine is running cool (180 thermostat) after loading the tune my truck was running waaaay better especially in the mid to high RPM range. But I noticed my motor was still running around 200 degrees even with the 180 thermostat (bought from local auto parts store) so I ordered a Mishimotto 180 thermostat and installed it today. Mercy it was like adding a tune to a tune. Now I'm truly running in the 180's. The power is across the board now and just light the tires up dangerous. Before loading the tune make sure you have all other mods complete first. The power of the tune is dependent on other mods like thermostat, CAI, exhaust.

Definitely try and buy this used. Made my truck faster and slightly better on fuel. Transmission still shifts rough though. If your truck has high mileage and a rebuilt transmission highly recommend

Installed this into a 2009 Silverado with a 5.3.I updated the unit first and set up the wifi before I went to the truck. I also registered the product automatically at that time. The next day after work sat in the drivers seat and plugged it in. I installed the 93 tune, firm tranny shifts and removed the speed limiter. The programmer backed up the original truck settings before it installed the new settings. The check engine lights went on and off, door locks went up and down and it stopped. The tuner said it's finished and enjoy the tune. I went back into the advance settings and under ECU I turned off the DOD, it reprogrammed it for that. Same procedure with the truck dash lights blinking then I get the your done message on the tuner. I unplugged the unit and fired up the truck. No idiot lights and the truck was running smooth. Took it for a spin. No issues. I stepped on it and my head bounced off the head rest. Holy Smoke this truck is alive now. It's faster than before. It put a smile on my face. It's worth the money. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for a little extra HP and also faster response. I got this and thought if it didn’t work I could return it. It worked better than I thought. I adjusted the shifting and response time and made a big difference. It has been worth it so far. My Tahoe response time is likable now.

You will have to update your vehicle before you can tune it. Cost $40 and you have to wait for the cord to arrive. Very frustrating. Gets more complicated by the step. Still haven’t got to actually change anything yet.

Having had all my other vettes professionally tuned, I thought I'd try and do this one myself seeing as this was going to be my only upgrade. The diablo 93 octane tune delivers a dyno proven 20hp/30tq to the wheels which is impressive for a canned tune! You can adjust about any perimeter you want to with this hand held(idle,fans,timing,shift points,speed o/tire size,afm/dod disabler,code scanner/clearer). Well worth the money for all it's options and versatility. Very pleased with my purchase and the performance gained in my vette!

This causes my engine to ping. (Knocking sound under heavy load) It has not given me any better performance gain, or fuel mileage. Waste if money. Seller would not accept a return of the product. Buy another product elsewhere.
