Worked great at first but froze up after a month or so. I was able to get it started again with some lubrication, but have not installed it again! Don't know who to contact for replacement.William Raymond

So wouldn’t you know swamp cooler goes out during this hot season anyway I guess it was the pump, well we ordered this and it is far pass any pumps that we have had beforeThe price was fantastic,hubby can’t get over the quality of pump superb very happy

If you have extremely hard water like we have here you don't want this pump. Because the motor isn't completely shrouded from the normal water mist in an evaporative cooler this motor packed up with calcium and burned out within two weeks. I got my Little Giant that I had saved when it quit starting after a year and worked with it a bit and now it is running fine again. Unlike this unit the Little Giant didn't burn up when it quit. I can see the burned coils in this motor. Probably a perfectly good unit but not for extreme hard water areas like here in the Sonoran desert where even water mist carries large quantities of deposit everywhere.
