The bit on the glass/tile 45 degree, open a half-moon notch on it.
Slowly up the bit to 60 degrees, and then gently drill.
Reached 90 degrees, continue to drill.
Please keep adding water when drilling to extend the life.

They work well, just make sure you have a stencil to start with when drilling glass. Or prep the hole with a different bit so there's a bit of a groove for the hole saw to catch on. Definitely worth it for $6.

used for drilling drain holes in hole-less ceramic pots. very fast cutting. I cut with water coolant/lubricant, making a puddle of water on the base of the pots and cutting under the water layer. I've only used one of the 11 so far; it hasn't dulled appreciably yet, with ~ 2 dozen holes drilled. And at that price, who cares if they do?Recommended. Would purchase again.
