I purchased an old outboard with a control box that wouldn't go into "rev mode". Once opened I found there is a spring that got eaten up and was destroyed. This spring was only offered in a kit, that is no longer available, and if found was over $50.00. I figured for the price, I'd try this spring kit. After some trial and error, I found an almost perfectly matched spring and now have a functioning control box.

I only needed one spring, but I wasn't sure on the size. So, figured what the heck, just get the whole box of them. There has been occasions over the years I've had little springs like these break in different items. Now I can be prepared if it happens again.So I used the spring in a top o matic manual cigarette machine. The spring isn't identical to the one it came with, and not the same quality. But it's holding up and allowing it to work, saving me money having to buy a new one.

The springs weren’t what I needed for a project but still they are good for something and shipping was fast. Can’t go wrong if you need these.
