I have 2 diaper genies. One with the pedal and this one. This diaper genie does not have a pedal and you just have to psh the diaper into the pail(very easy). This pail never smells and for being smaller it seems to hold more diapers! Maybe it is because they require the square diaper refills instead of the circle. This pail is think is also easier to tear the bag because my other one always falls off. I love this diaper pail!

I bought this late in the game, circa 5 months, but it does the job WELL. Cant smell a thing! I havent had to buy a new bag yet, and its been 3 months. I just rip off a piece and throw out the poop. Wonderful for a reason.

Great small trash can! Holds in diaper smell well. The top part often comes out when throwing away diapers, but it is super easy to reassemble. Just annoying that you need to be gentle and often am in a rush with a crying newborn

Things that aren't perfectly described when buying this product.There are two different types of frames the bags come in Square and Circle frames. This one is a square frame. Everything on Amazon is circle frames so be prepared go to down a rabbit hole to find the right kind of bag refills. The suggested buy feature on Amazon that shows what everyone buys with this product are the circle frames. I found out the hard way.Next issue, the instructions are fairly simple. Unfortunately, the images do not match how you connect the cutter. Though I was putting it together wrong. Nope just bad images and poor instructions.Just stay away from this. Use a trash can and save your money.

first, the 'instructions' for the compact model are inadequate. the printed sheet didn't tell us anything of value all youtube clicks were about other models. when we finally cobbled together whar appeared to be a usable product, we had a part left over that was not pictured on theinsruction sheet or any video. since this will used for Depends rather than baby diapers we will suffer thruogh reather than going through the nightmareof repackaging and return. we suggest buying any other model. if the manufacuturer does consider supporting this model as much as other model, you should avoid buying it. BTW THE BUNDLE THAN IS ASSOCIATED WITH IT INCLUDES an odor surpression product but is no way to install it.

Lo acabo de armar, es el segundo bote que tengo de este tipo. El otro ya no lo usaba con bolsas porque era un modelo anterior y ya no habÃa bolsas disponibles y debo decir que cumplÃa con lo esperado. Pienso que este será mejor (en cuanto a no dejar salir olores) porque tiene las bolsas originales.La verdad fue muy fácil de armar (es muy intuitivo y viene una pequeña guÃa) eso si, viene con una parte de plástico que sobra... literalmente dice que "es inservible, reciclar" 🤷... no se porque la mandarán, pero si les sobra, no se asusten 😅
