This material makes a great window seal but even better if you don’t follow their video and is easily done solo, you don’t need 2 people.First remove the inner trim ring. The window isn’t going to fall out.Next outside put a few strips of masking tape across then cut the tape between the window frame and rv wall. This will help you align when you reinstall.Pry out the window with a flat pry bar and wood block to prevent damage to the rv exterior.Clean the window flange with a metal (not plastic) putty knife and small screwdriver. Get as much of the old mastic off as possible but no need to go overboard. Clean with a green scrubby and dawn then rinse and wipe down with alcohol.Clean around the window opening. Putty knife then razor blade then dawn then alcohol. You are ready to reinstall the window. Install the new mastic AROUND THE EDGE OF THE RV WINDOW opening, not on the window frame! This is the important thing I learned because the window opening is often larger than the actual window.Press the cleaned window in place. Hopefully it still has the spacers at the bottom for height. As you are doing this try as well as possible to align the previously placed masking tape. Push on the window. It will stick in place and you can go in and start installing interior trim ring and screws. No need to torque too hard, you are only trying to get the inside trim ring flush with the window frame. EasypeasyCaulking the exterior: I don’t agree with just caulking the tops of the window frames. When you’re driving water comes from everywhere. Caulk all around the window frame. My experience, hope this helps! Way better than butyl tape.

I've never resealed windows. I delayed and delayed because I just didn't want to deal with the messy tube sealant. Found this and ordered. Took the window out, of course not as easy as the instructional video, cleaned surfaces, lined this sealant around the rim, carefully lined it up to the window cutout, I needed it to flatten some so I used a hair dryer and heated it up, fastened the inner ring, added a nice bead around the perimeter using painters tape for a straight finish. Looks great. I can tell..... there will be no leaks for a long long time.Yes, it will take 2 people to do this.

The adhesive fumes are flammable. The adhesive had what looked like pieces of foam in it. I had to stop and pick them out. I'm not sure about the seal yet.

Very easy to use. The hardest part of repairing the leaky window in my RV was removing all the old seal. This kit perfectly resolved my issue...& I have enough left over to repair any other leaky windows that may appear in the future.

I had four windows in my camper van that needed resealing, and there was enough here for all four. And that's with doubling up the gasket material (design issue, not an issue with this kit). The first window was a learning process, the next three were a snap. Highly recommend this kit for RV repair.

Installed a new window in motorhome, kit is OK but if I had to do over, I would use something else. The video that shows the product in use is old and does not use the "caulk" that actually comes in the kit. The caulk is more like rubber cement, smells like it too. Spray bottle useless since this "caulk" can't be spread wet or dry, very messy. Price is too high for what you get. Personal opinion, I think you'd be better off with a good quality butyl tape and good quality silicon caulk, cheaper too.
