I bought these red LEDs to add a machine gun muzzle flash to my 1/16 scale Heng Long Merkava IV tank. The upgrade kit to do this from Heng Long is expensive. One of these red LEDs worked great, it is bright, and looks amazing. I used a piece of brass tube (painted black) to replace the stock gun barrel which accommodates the tiny wires attached to the LED chip. Came with 20 pieces plus one extra, less than 40 cents each, tiny wires came pre soldered, so I didn't have to. These LEDs are very tiny so you'd need a microscope to solder them yourself. These are great for all types of scale modeling projects and come in a variety of colors.

I bought a model kit that was way smaller then I though it would be. These tiny SMDs were excellent to make this 6 inch long model look a lot more interesting. Very pleased with the sturdiness of the connections the wire have with the ledI suggest taking a lighter and quickly burning away the covering to get to the bare wire, they are so tiny that you will likely just cut the wire trying to cut away the cover.The tiny wires are great for running through tight places. I am very pleased and just bought some more red ones.

I thought these were too small, but ended up being the best choice for my kids Lego Star Wars set. It fits in small gaps, it's bright and fairly easy to set up. I used a cr2032 battery and it powered 4 lights, I didn't test it but I believe it could hold at least 2 more lights. The wires are thin and it need some patience to strip, I also use those heat shrink tube to keep it tight in place.

Negative? Not a fan of the way the package gets crushed in shipping but that’s probably an Amazon driver sitting on it! 😜Positive? Always a note and a couple extra LED’s (in case). Thanks!Never have had a problem with these. Wires are easier to solder than other similar products for some reason. I use them in various projects including model railway applications.

The size and color of these LEDs are great. I use them in small hobby projects. In some cases I used a dab of hot glue to hold them in place and diffuse the light, this worked really well. The quality is great and I haven't received any that didn't work.

The quality and the durability of the wires are excellent, and I am pleased with the variety of the colors. I had to take one star because the lights are not bright enough. I use these LEDs when customizing model kits and Gundams. They have to give me Flash Blindness.
