For the money, this is an excellent caliper. Either lock the arm when storing or remove the battery as any movement of the arm turns on the battery.

Slider is smooth and accurate. This is especially useful when measuring items which have edge or corner radii on them and is much cheaper than offset-jaw calipers.

I did have to install a new battery. But after that, it works great. Also, their customer support is also great.

These things have battery issues. They turn themselves on inside the case from moving around and drain the battery. I almost returned it thinking it arrived damaged but a new battery did the trick. I wonder how many of these have been returned for a bad battery. Hope you all are reading this!
