I purchased mine used from Amazon for $30. Fantastic deal for sure. I circuit bend and tinker with Audio electronics and this works perfectly for all of that. Don’t go hooking this up to a car or nothing lol. One small issue is that it is far to light. I opened mine up and threw some washers in it to add some weight so it wouldn’t side around so much. Other then that comparing this to a $1000 oscilloscope it works perfectly for my needs and as a first time use of a oscilloscope it was easy to figure it out with out directions(though mine did come with paper directions). Also add says it does not come with 9v adapter but mine did so… 50/50 on if they all do or not. If you see a scope That looks like this one but is more money get the cheaper version if you look inside all the circuits are the same doesn’t matter what brand it’s coming from they’re all exactly the same. Beyond that with a UART cable you can update firmware, add rechargeable lithium battery’s, and more by modding. Would buy again

Works great, right out of the box. Attached it to line-level signals from an audio mixer and got great waveforms. Compared to a tube-based traditional oscilloscope, there's more pixellation of the waveforms but given its small size, it will be useful for remote troubleshooting.

While I've had this since June I had only turned it on twice. Third time it wasn't reading anymore. I bought this cause it was Amazon suggested. See where that got me....

Used this exactly twice before it stopped working. Being outside the window for returns I opened the unit and found the power input to the circuit board had broken. I resoldered the joint and it works as new. Hopefully this can help others in the same boat

inexpensive inexpensive o scope...perfect for us mortals that opnly need an oscilloscope every now and then. i use it to set the gains on amps...works great. pick up a bnc to rca adapter and you can check head unit outputs at the end of the rcas near the amps where you will be setting the gains anyways. keeps you from having to pull the head unit

The oscilloscope measures 2 7/8 inch wide, by 4 inches tall, by 7/8 inch deep. Nice that it comes with a power supply. Screen is small, but what can you expect from a 2.4 inch display. When I saw the box I said to myself, "it can't be that small, but it was. I did the calibration check and it was spot on. The scope is truly handheld as there is not way to stand it up because of the on/off switch on the bottom and the power plug. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had built a stand into the back of the unit so it stand at an angle. Overall I think it would do the job for testing from 0 - 200 khz, but I am not sure if I will keep it because of the small size. If you are thinking of using this scope for auto testing you might want some way of making sure it doesn't fall into the engine. Another advantage/disadvantage depending on how you look at is is the light weight. Would have gotten 5 stars had not been for size.

Bought this to set gains on car amps, came with a power supply but bought a 9v adapter to use in car. Works great, accurate enough to actually discern distortion before full clipping point, I dig it and def worth the money

This thing is great for setting the gains on DSP or amplifiers, or seeing how high you can safely turn up your head unit, until it clips.Download some test tracks from the kicker website and see how the sound curve looks.
